Orchard and Star is an 18th Century estate on 44 acres framed by Catskills mountains, in reach of New York City. Available for weddings, concerts, and corporate, wellness, and artistic retreats.

Two hundred and twenty years of somebody’s home.Rooms with fireplaces and wide-plank floors. Three nights are built into every event package.
Two air-conditioned and heated 12-month Barn event venues, balcony overlooking mountain and orchard views, 3 Barn bathrooms and ADA Certificate and 6 bathrooms on site, Bride and Groom get-ready rooms, and tables, chairs, Riedel glassware, and place settings that include handmade stoneware from L’Impatience and Golden Ratio — all set the Farm apart.

Two rooms, twelve months.Upper Barn for ceremonies, dinner, and dancing. Lower Barn for cocktail hour, buffet service, and the run of house.
Set for a hundred, with the mountains behind it.Travertine floor, a wall of windows onto the field, and a buffet line the length of the room.
Cut flowers, inside the stone walls.Phlox, rudbeckia, russian sage, and daylilies, June through the first frost. Florists are welcome to cut from it.
The room was built to be played in.
A restored 19th century timber frame carries sound the way a hall does — bands, string quartets, DJs, and a Steinway that lives here. There is a concert sound system on site, power where you need it, and no noise ordinance to play against. Musicians who work here tend to ask to come back.
We have owned the Farm for 20 years. Prior owners range from John Lennon and Yoko Ono in the 1970s, to the Thomases in the 19th century and Montgomerys in the 18th century. Native Americans have left traces on the land dating back 2,300 years.
